For many decades, Emtek has been renowned for its durable solid brass hardware products in the USA. The features of their products include a backlit keypad that wakes with a touch and includes numbers that won't wear off, as well as optional settings for customized auto re-lock, privacy mode, and tamper alarms. The motorized deadbolt is equipped with a quiet motor and a tapered deadbolt to accommodate misaligned doors.

Installation is simple, requiring just a screwdriver to replace an existing deadbolt. The product fits on standard doors 1-3/4” to 2-1/4” thick with a standard 2-1/8” face bore door prep. Additionally, the product is weather protected with a rubber gasket for increased protection against outdoor environments. The color available is Polished Chrome (US26).

Emtek's smart lock allows users to create and manage unlimited entry codes with the easy-to-use August mobile app. It features an auto-unlock function in home mode and away mode, automatically unlocking when approaching the door to leave or when arriving back home (within a range of about 200 meters). The smart lock works with all three voice assistants and is compatible with leading smart home security systems and hosting platforms. The Connect by August SMART bundle includes the pre-installed Connected by August module, August Connect Wi-Fi Bridge, and DoorSense.

To assist with installation, users can download the BILT app for easy step-by-step 3D instructions. The product also includes a 9V battery port to prevent lockouts and allows for monitoring guest access and total control status updates. The package includes various components such as the battery cover, interior escutcheon, mounting plate, strike plate, security plate, deadbolt latch, 2-3/4” deadbolt latch, 2-3/8” deadbolt latch, AA batteries, machine screws, and wood screws.

In addition, the package includes the August Connect Wi-Fi Bridge and August DoorSense, and is compatible with August doorbells.
